Automatic Roller Shutter Pit Cover System

The fully automated roller pit shutters are Hartex's patent pending roller cover system designed to suit all styles of service and inspection pits. They come with an explosion proof motor for the hazardous zoning requirements and are 3 Phase powered, 20A, exclusive of the normal electrical power supply.

Hartex Pit Liner Cover (Tarpaulin Style)

The Hartex Pit Cover is easy to implement on both legacy concrete pits as well as new wide body pits.

Automatic Roller Shutter Pit Cover Features:

  • Dead man control for safety (door stops
    either way when not touching controls)

  • Door slows down at both extremes for a
    smooth and safe stop

  • A 14m cover can open and close in under 45
    seconds

  • Door rolls into a self contained cassette
    out of harms way when pit is in use

Workshop Pit Liner Cover features:

  • Suits any pit length with a pit width of 1.2m

  • Supports up to 200kg weight
  • Can be easily installed by end user
  • Roller includes carry bar so cover can be
    rolled while standing

safey hand rails & guard rails

Monowill fencing custom made to suit any pit length or area. Includes plastic yellow chains for the ends. Posts and rails will be BLACK steel primed. Options include:

  • Hand rails painted safety yellow
  • Swing gate instead of plastic chains (more practical, user friendly option)
